After winning the toss, Stars opted to bowl first and invited Hobart Hurricanes to set the target. Put into bat, Hurricanes posted 158-6 in the allotted overs, courtesy Heather Knight’s unbeaten 82 of 55 deliveries. Coming to chase, Melbourne Stars chased down the target with 5 wickets remaining in 19.5 overs with the help of Erin Osborne’s 67 of 46 and Mignon du Preez’s 59 of 38 deliveries after a shaky start.
