OTG VS WEL : Otago Volts will be playing their second game of the competition when they visit Basin Reserve to face the Wellington Firebirds. Not only the Volts but the Firebirds will also be featuring in their second match of the season. Wellington Firebirds last encounter took place at the Eden Park in Auckland. The game was abandoned due to heavy rains and not even the toss took place.
Meanwhile, Otago Volts are coming into this affair after a tremendous win over Canterbury by 5 wickets. That was the second match of the season which was played at the University Oval in Dunedin. Batting first, Canterbury rode on Stephen Murdoch’s 54 and opener Chad Bowes 42, the duo helped their team post a formidable 184 for the loss of 5 wickets.
