SA-Y vs IN-Y: The eight ODIs series that kicks starts tomorrow will be played between South Africa U-19, Afghanistan U-19 and India U-19 A and India U-19 B. These four teams will lock horns with each other in the round-robin format to proceed to a 3rd Place Play-off and final. The third place playoff and the final will be played on March 11, Friday at St Xavier’s College Ground, Thiruvananthapuram and Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram respectively. All matches will be played in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Quadrangular U-19 One Day Series comes on the back of two 4-day games against SA U19 which were played on 20th February 2019 and 26thFebruary 2019. The hosts outplayed the visitors in all formats and registered 9 wickets win in the first game that finished inside three days. The second game too got finished in three days after the hosts mustered out South Africa U-19 for mere 85 runs in the second innings to register their second win by an innings and 158 runs.
